Viktor Gernhard was born at Ebenhausen near Ingolstadt / Bavaria
in 1923.

Since 1933 he lives in the Bavarian town Pfaffenhofen on Ilm.

From 1940 until 1945 he served onboard of  destroyer 'Z-25'.

He is not only a painter, he also is very interested in photography.
